Currently, we are focusing on the 3D printing aspect of Flowio, but our team is uncertain whether our lab's 3D printer can fulfill the necessary requirements, as stipulated on your website.
In order to meet the printing requirements, a 3D printer must possess a high resolution, with the formlabs form 3b offering the highest resolution of 25μm. We are curious to know the specific resolution that is necessary for our printing process, and whether it must precisely match the 25μm offered by the formlabs form 3b.
For some other 3D printer with the same resolution, could we use them to do the 3D printing?
Thank you very much for your help.
The resolution can be slighly more coarse and still achieve working results. However, by using printers and settings other than those specified, you will first need to go through a trial and error process of identifying the appropriate scaling factors along the x y and z directions. The printed part must me dimensionally accurate with almost no margin of error.
Use the syringe test to identify when you have achieved a dimensionally perfect outcome form your trial and error tests.
If you are successful, you can post your results here as Option 3.
